The Whitaker Transfer Bench Shower Curtain is an adapted shower curtain for tub transfer benches. This shower curtain features a sheer window across the top which allows more light in the shower enclosure.
Designed by an occupational therapist, it provides a functional and elegant solution for privacy and safety for tub transfer bench users. Since transfer benches are placed with one leg in the bathtub and one leg out, there is the possibility of getting floors wet during showers and baths. Two vertical slits in the lower portion of this shower curtain allow it to fall down and remain fully inside the tub, preventing water from splashing out. In the center of the curtain is a cutout flap. Each side of the curtain comes right up to the edge of the transfer bench, while the cutout flap slides into the gap of split seat of sliding transfer benches.
The patented Hookless design of the Whitaker Transfer Bench Shower Curtain makes it easy to hang. Simply use the slit openings at the top of the curtain to slip it over the bar. The embedded rings allow it to hang properly and slide smoothly across the curtain rod. Magnets at each bottom corner help prevent the curtain from billowing.
The 100% polyester material is water-repellant and resists soap scum build-up.
